        <description><![CDATA[<p>For several months I have been receiving occasional e-mails (perhaps one in ten) that are truncated, some after the first line, others after up to 30 or 40 lines. The effect does not seem to be related to the length of the e-mail or the sender. The e-mails appear in full on my ISPs server and have always arrived in full when I forward them to myself using webmail. And, yes, I have checked my Eudora settings (plus the truncated e-mails contain no warning messages about size limitations). </p>
<p>
I am using Bitdefender Antivirus 2011 and Eudora on Windows XP. My partner gets the same effect on a separate computer using Thunderbird with Bitdefender Antivirus 2011. </p>
<p>
After reading posts on this forum (Outlook Cannot Download Emails With Larger Than 1 Mg Attachments - Feb 23 2011) I turned off scanning incoming e-mail in Bitdefender. Since then all e-mails have arrived complete. </p>
<p>
It would be nice to restore scanning incoming e-mails without the problem returning and I would welcome information and/or advice.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I have Thunderbird e-mail client updated to the last version 6.0 and as part of the update routine it checks for compatibility of the add-ons, and it disables the non compatibles ones. This is the exact situation of the bdToolbar 1.0 add-on of Bitdefender in my Thunderbird 6.0, and there is no option for the user to change anything. </p>
<p>
I guess there is some hacking that can be done in Thunderbird to force it to enable the add-on, but not knowing the reason of the non-compatibility this does not seems to me the right approach, and most probably will be a waste of time with no good result.</p>
<p>
Is this problem known for bdToolbar 1.0 with the new version 6.0 of Thunderbird? If yes I suppose more people with this version of Thunderbird have the same problem. Note: You will be aware of this only if you check the list of add-ons in the Thunderbird add-on manager.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I cannot get e-mail notifications to work. I have tried all the combinations I can think of and nothing works. I even tried providing my work e-mail address as the recipient and I just got a message asking for my password for the recipients account (why?), which I don't have because it was set up by my employer.</p>
<p>
My ISP is BT and each time I try to set up mail alerts from within Bit Defender, I get a message back from BT (including the html code), part of which says this:-</p>
<p>
<b>Dear Customer,&lt;/p&gt;</b></p>
<p>
          &lt;p&gt;</p>
<p>
            You’ve received a ‘553’ error message because we’ve upgraded your BT Yahoo! Mail account security to help protect against ‘spoofing’ – when people use alternate email addresses to disguise the real sender, possibly to commit fraud.</p>
<p>
          &lt;/p&gt;</p>
<p>
          &lt;h2 style="margin-bottom: 0; font-size:1em; color: #000"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you need to do&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;</p>
<p>
          &lt;p style="margin-top: 0"&gt;</p>
<p>
            We need you to take a few minutes to confirm each of the BT Yahoo! Mail alternate email addresses you use are genuine. If you don’t, you might get more ‘553’ error messages and have problems sending emails. Just log in and &lt;a href="<a href="http://www.btyahoo.com/verify" rel="external nofollow">http://www.btyahoo.com/verify"</a> title="Welcome to BT Internet"&gt;follow these simple steps&lt;/a&gt;. We don’t ask for any personal information.</p>
<p>
If I log in to my BT Yahoo account, I find that my e-mail addresses are already verified, so I have no idea what is going on here. Has anyone else managed to get e-mail notifications to work with BT Yahoo e-mail?</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Since last Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, we have not been able to receive any emails, in Outlook, with attachments larger than 1 meg. We had no problems before that.</p>
<p>
When I turn BD off the emails download with no problem (even a 6 meg attachment). When I turn BD back on, that same 6 meg file will not download.</p>
<p>
Anyone else have or has had this problem??</p>
<p>
Don't know what to do. It is crucial for our business to be able to receive large files.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi</p>
<p>
I have BD Internet Security 2011, which I have integrated with Microsoft Outlook 2007 + 4 IMAP accounts</p>
<p>
When I get a SPAM message, I can press the "is spam" button and the email will be moved to spam. However despite some senders being on my "Spammers" list the emails from them do not automatically go to the SPAM folder.</p>
<p>
Also - emails are not marked as spam in anyway, they just go to the spam folder if I tell BitDefender that email is manually spam.</p>
<p>
Can anyone help?</p>
<p>
Thanks</p>]]>
