        <description><![CDATA[<p>I always used Bing for searches and a few month ago the green icon disapeared. So I tried google and no SA. On Yahoo search the grn icon was there so I been using Yahoo search for months. Yesterday I noticed the green icons was gone. I ran several system restores, didn't work. Ran a virus scan, didn't work. Run a error checker didn't work. </p>

I have IE8 and BD TS 2013. Please don't ask me to try some other browser, been using IE for 10-15yrs. If I have to I will just dnld McAfee siteadvisor and get rid of BD when it runs out.</p>
<p>
Search advisor from the page blk tab dropdown is turned on and SSL in Privacy is turned on. I have not dnlded anything or run any updates so that can't be the problem</p>]]>

You try it and see if it works  going from <a href="https://www.google.com" rel="external nofollow">https://www.google.com</a> to just <a href="http://www.google.com" rel="external nofollow">http://www.google.com</a> in your search</p>
<p>
hope this helps sort out the problem area and brings on a fix from Bitdefender</p>

<b>Background</b>: after installing Bitdefender TS 2013 I cant use my internetbanking anymore (<a href="https://internetbanking.caixa.gov.br/SIIBC/index.processa" rel="external nofollow">https://internetbanking.caixa.gov.br/SIIBC/index.processa</a>)... Everytime since then I'm getting security certificated related problems. So I found out that I should just temporarly disable the "scan SSL" under "Configurations"&gt;"Privacy"</p>
<p>
<b>Problem</b>: HOWEVER the tab "Privacy" is not availabe under "Configurations"! There are just 5 tabs in the "Configurations Overview" : "Overall", "Antivirus", "Firewall", "Updates" and "Safebox"...</p>
<p>
Since I've Bitdefender installed in 2 notebooks I went to check in the other notebook for this "Privacy"tab... and strangely this option was available there!!! In the other notebook (with same productkey, since I'm able to get it installed in up to three computers) there are 9 tabs available under "Configurations Overview": "Overall", "Antivirus", "Firewall", "Updates", "Safebox" and "Privacy", "File Encryption", "Antispam" and "Optimization".</p>
<p>
<b>Questions</b>: </p>
<p>
1) Why do I have different tabs available in the "ConfigurationsOverview" when comparing these 2 computers, if the software and the productkey are absolutely the same??</p>
<p>
2) Is there any other way to solve my problem with the bank website other than disabling "Scan SSL" under these unavailable tab "Privacy"?</p>

If any other users encounter the issue while trying to authenticate the login / password dialog box will pop up over and over until complete failure.  It seems the Scan SSL feature alters the connection in someway or does not allow the credentials to properly pass through to the server.</p>]]>
