        <description><![CDATA[<div><div><p>Ever since I installed Bitdefender on my machine, my VPN connection (created in Windows, not a 3rd Party VPN application) has not been allowed to connect.  I can't figure out how to whitelist it in the firewall.  I have searched the internet and it always says to AddRule&gt;Browse and then choose the "VPN application" executable file.  But this VPN connection is not through an application.  This is my wife's work VPN that she wants to connect to and there is no client installed.  It is a VPN connection set up inside of Windows, so I don't know which file to choose when I get to the Browse portion of the AddRule.  </p></div></div>]]>

<p>
I have a 200 MB connection I usually download very quickly. On iTunes, it can take several hours to charge 20 or 30 MB.</p>
<p>
If I disable the firewall, antivirus and privacy control, it changes nothing. But if I prevent BitDefender services to work (which is very easy to do), iTunes starts to download very quickly. If BitDefender manages to reestablish its services, iTunes starts again to download slowly.</p>
<p>
I authorized iTunes, the program Apple update, Bonjour and all Apple programs that I could find for the firewall. I even excluded the iTunes program and update of the AV, it changes nothing: I must stop BD services if I want that iTunes download at a normal speed.</p>

My name is Kevin (hence Niveek, which is my name backwords and an extra "e") I can't submit a support ticket due whatever reason, nor can I logg in at MyBitdefender, and since I'm not pleased with the support ticket system of bitdefender (getting responses without any solutions*.. Irrelevant answers and stuff..): I'm trying to search for help this way.</p>
<p>
(I've always run Total security 2014 but am now upgrading to 2015 to see if it fixes anything)</p>
<p>
I've been having issues with my firewall for a while now. First it was "Steam" who got shut off my internet, now it is "League of Legends". </p>
<p>
My firewall seems to block everything that I was being able to play before and I find it unacceptable.. I added everything there was to add to my exceptions of both my Bitdefender Firewall and my windows firewall but no results. I googled for a solution but nothing seems to work.</p>
<p>
Now I also noticed my bitdefender keeps going to autopilot if I close it to my tray, perhaps this is the reason? I tried starting total security as admin and changing it to user profile but it keeps switching back...</p>
<p>
Even though I have 450+ days remaining on my account I am considering to remove bitdefender since it does more harm than good.</p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>There is an annoying behaviour while connecting for example to GPG key servers with BDIS-2014 firewall is turned ON in Paranoid mode.</p>

gpgkeys_hkp.exe is used for connecting to OpenPgp key servers, some options differ while each request (-o "X:\tempin.txt").</p>
<p>
So if request is allowed and stored in BD firewall, on next attempt with changed options firewall blocks this new request...</p>
<p>
How to configure BD firewall rule for these differing options?</p>
<p>
gpgkeys_hkp.exe internet access should be allowed with all the differing options attached, pls look at screenshots.</p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I have two Windows 7 machines (both desktop, hardwired to the LAN). Settings are to "HOME" network. </p>
<p>
Bitdefender 2014 installed on both ... and homegroup works great. Can connect into the homegroup and access files, etc.</p>
<p>
Now, if the secondary machine (one connecting into the homegroup) does not have BD2014... and with the primary machine (where homegroup was created) still having BD 2014, the second machine cannot access the homegroup files. Homegroup is recognized, but files can't be accessed. </p>
<p>
Any help?</p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Attached is a jpg of my current Firewall Rules/Application rules that is again empty...I had dozens of rules here previously...and just before this post I added 5 new rules...but they also are gone ? on system restart...my app rules is again empty in Bitdefender...</p>
<p>
Anyone know what's going on...and also where these 'rules' are stored in Bitdefender IS2014 ?  I do have backups via Acronis tibs .</p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I am SICK of getting Disconects, not geting server lists, uploads failing, downloads getting stoped because of this FIREWALL in the 2014 version.</p>
<p>
I added the programs to the list, they have full access yet i keep getting disconects in League of legends, Steam, Star wars the old republic, adobe dreamweaver.</p>
<p>
I have to turn off my firewall module every single time i want to play thouse games or upload a god ###### site.</p>
<p>
Is there a way to get a refund for the purchase i made because simply put, Bitdefender went to ######. they were the best now they are the worst.</p>
<p>
And dont give me that Common user excuse, Add a function for expert users or get yourself another job. I want to be able to controll my computer not constantly be annoyed by it.</p>]]>

I'm running the new Bitdefender Total Security.</p>
<p>
I've had on-going issues with Outlook failing to connect to Exchange Online.</p>
<p>
I'm running Windows 8.1 64-bit, MS Outlook 2013 32-bit and my emails are hosted in the Office 365 environment.</p>
<p>
Just got an email from the support team advising me that MS Outlook 2013 is not currently supported, but was just wondering if there are any firewall rules people can suggest to try address the issue.</p>
<p>
Issue is Outlook fails to connect Microsoft Exchange, while the Firewall is on. I've disabled the Anti-Spam feature, as Microsoft does this already.</p>
<p>
With the Firewall off Outlook connects and run's fine. With it on, it constantly fails to connect to Exchange. </p>
<p>
I've added the Outlook Application to the Firewall for exceptions. I followed a guide (Sorry don't have link) which advised to uninstall Outlook and Reinstall while Bitdefender is running, still no help.</p>
<p>
Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.</p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Is anyone using Bitdefender on a Windows 8.1 OS (x64) PC and linking it to Server 2012 Essentials R2?</p>
<p>
If so does anyone know how to allow the connector through the firewall to allow a backup to take place?</p>
<p>
No matter what I do the backup will stop unless I turn off the firewall completely?</p>
<p>
I've tried all the options I can see but alas nothing makes and difference.</p>
<p>
I'm on my 30 day trial at the moment and this is the last issue I need to resolve before going ahead with purchasing licenses for all the household PCs.</p>
<p>
Any / all assistance woudl be appreciated.</p>]]>
