I am using Bitdefender Total Security Build 17.28.0.1191

I went to check Facebook, clicked through Bitdefender GUI and got the following Facebook protection is not activated for your account.

On Safego panel it says Reports for Facebook, still get (Facebook protection is not activated for your account.)

Get the same when i log into My Bitdefender and click on safego in, IE9 and chrome and Firefox. Tried several times.

SafeGo was working last time i checked couple of days ago.

Hope this makes sense.

See subject. How come? I am sure i had the green dots on Facebook before. They do not appear on facebook in IE11, Firefox 29.01 and in Chrome 35.0.1916.114m.

MyBitdefender is connected to Facebook alright. And even warned about an infected link. When i go to Facebook to that infected link, there is no indication whatsoever that this link is infected. And i do not see any dots on any link. Why?? They are there on Google Search and Twitter. And also missing in Bing search!

The items listed under Infected Items in SAFEGO do not appear in my Facebook news feed. Also, these items are posted by people who are not friends of mine on Facebook.

Where are these "infected items" coming from?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello,

When I ran a scan of my Facebook page, the following showed as infected:

Change Your Faceb00k Color http://colorjeste.blogspot.com/

I haven't clicked it, etc., and I assume it is a virus. However, when I clicked the red shield icon it gave this message: Oops! Bitdefender Safego says this post looks fishy! To check it, go to http://www.facebook.com/Bitdefender.safego/. Of course, when I go to the page, it's just the general Safego Facebook page, and there are hundreds of posts, but none telling me how to remove this.

So, how do I go about removing that from my Facebook account?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I have just bought Bitdefender Internet Security 2014 and I am a new customer so not that familiar with it yet. I clicked to set up Safego and logged into my Facebook account but then chickened out when Bitdefender asked for permission to access my news feed etc. Now when I visit my Facebook page, I have noticed that links that friends post on my newsfeed now have little green ticks next to them, like when I surf the internet, from Bitdefender. I changed my password to see if that might change anything but it didn't. My question is, how is it possible for these green ticks to appear if I cancelled the request to access my information?

Many thanks.
