They are as follows:<br /><br /> 1.My mobile is Oneplus 8T , the OS version is Android 11. When Don't  show any notifications or Hide silent conversions and notifications option is enabled under main option  '" Notifications on lockscreen " Bitdefender mobile security cannot show the message sent from' ' Play sound alert notification" under Anti Theft. I feel it is a serious drawback of Bitdefender mobile security ,yet it did not alert users about this setting whereas competitive mobile securities like Kaspersky , Eset , Avast etc can show anti theft alert notification although "Hide silent conversations and notifications" is enabled they shows the message from anti theft web console. <br /><br /> 2.When show all notifications content enabled under main settings Notifications on  screen, Bitdefender mobile security can display "Play sound alert notification under anti theft ,command sent from Bitdefender central.It displays play sound alert notification as normal notification, I feel it will be better if Bitdefender mobile security  displays play sound alert notification covering entire screen like competitors do.Crowded countries like India where pickpockets are very common.For me anti theft is most important than anti virus has Google play store can perform anti virus function.<br /><br /> 3. I feel it will be better "Snap photo" will be executed as on demand command Bitdefender Central rather than "Snap a photo after 3 failed attempts to unlock your device" Now thieves are clever enough they format mobile phones instead of trying to unlock it.<br /><br /> 4.Please remove VPN functionality from Bitdefender mobile security , instead of as inbuilt function make it as separate app, because of in built VPN of it ,Service  Openvpn Service is running by Google play store so Bitdefender mobile security along with it uses more than 400MB RAM. It is open fact several users of your mobile security do not like VPN as in built , you got several negative reviews highlighting this point.<br /><br /> Last but not least Bitdefender mobile security should detect malware when  downloaded like competitors like Kaspersky , Eset , Avast etc do but the former detects only when it is installed.<br /><br /> Previously I brought these points to your notice till now these features are not implemented . I have searched for instructions on how to include my network NAS and a USB external Hard drive connected to my laptop.</p>
<p>
(ideally, I would like the scan to extend to another USB external HDD connected to my NAS... though if I can fix the above it may include this drive as well so I may first see what the responses are)</p>
<p>
I started a system scan, and in the progress status bar at the top, it has a tick on "choose scan locations". But I didn't have the option to choose drives, it automatically went to the next step, perform scan.</p>
<p>
I'm monitoring this scan as it goes to see what it does after it finishes the C drive.</p>
<p>
I can see there is a custom option to create "New Custom Task" however it only allows to choose the laptops own drives, in my case C, D (CD rom) and E, the memory card reader slot.</p>
<p>
but I cant see how I can specify the network location for the NAS.</p>
<p>
I have just set up this NAS... and very soon, all 3 computers on our network will all be using the NAS for all document and data read and writes. </p>
<p>
Eventually I may use the Synology NAS's internal client for some FTP / Torrent work ... so I hoped that and assumed (I know pretty poor planning to not have checked before buying the 3 PC license) that Bitdefender with it's top notch reputation would be able to include a network /NAS drives in its schedulued scans.</p>
<p>
I did read somewhere that it may scan files as I access them on the NAS, I would feel more confident that the NAS location was just scanned as routinely as is the C drive of our laptops.</p>]]>

	I use Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2015 on 2 PC's (it seems not possible to post under the Bitdefender 2015 section).<br />
	Bitdefender itself works fine and initially Windows 10 Security Center recognizes it correctly: Bitdefender Antivirus enabled and Windows Defender Antivirus disabled.<br />
	However after updating Bitdefender, Windows gives false warnings that both Antivirus applications are disabled.<br />
	When I click on it, it opens the Security Center menu (screenshot). When I click on 'Open App' (1) -&gt; nothing happens, when I click on 'enable' (2) it activates Bitdefender real-time protection correctly if it's disabled (but in this case it was already active).<br />
	I took these action with no results:<br />
	- Followed steps <span>on</span> <a href="https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/9329/" rel="external nofollow">https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/9329/</a><br />
	- Reinstalled Bitdefender --&gt; problem solved until the automatic Bitdefender update is installed.<br />
	- Turned on/off autopilot, disabled and activated Bitdefender, ...<br />
	Problem is present on both PC's.

	What can I do about this? It appears that the problem is introduced in a certain Bitdefender update.

	We use group policy to set all terminal server users default home page.
</p>

	When we run a scan with bitdefender, it changes the homepage for all users to blank.
</p>

<p>
	It seems that bitdefender is not clever enough to realise that group policy is not a virus or hijack.
</p>

<p>
	Is there a way to stop bitdefender from changing the homepage when running a scan ?

        <description><![CDATA[<p>So i recently purchased bitdefender 2014 total security. It does a great job except for the fact that it seems like it is scanning my computer constantly. It keeps doing these idle scans which somewhat drop the performance of my computer. Whenever i leave my computer to go to the bathroom, get something to eat or even walk away from it for a couple minutes, when i come back it is doing the idle scan and sometimes it doesn't stop the idle scan even though i am using my computer. Why does it constantly scan my computer. Nothing changed from the 5-10 minutes that i was on my PC. Like i dont understand. I use to have Mcafee and it would do full scans about once a week while keeping real time scanning on. Bitdefender seems to like to do full system scans 10 times a day. It's getting very frustrating and if i turn idle scan off, it says im not protected. </p>
<p>
Also another issue im getting is that after each and every one of these 10 scans a day, i constantly am prompted to delete about 10-30 cookies that are apparently "viruses". This is just becoming such a hassle. </p>
<p>
I was going to put my bitdefender in autopilot but it seems that it does even more scans than in user mode. </p>
<p>
Is there a setting im missing or what?</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>My symptoms are different than the ones in <a href="http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=47880" rel=" nofollow">this thread </a>and I don't want to hijack it so I'm starting a new one. Mods please combine the threads if appropriate.</p>
<p>
I've opened a support ticketed but I hope a forum discussion might lead to some insight. Considering the other forums posts I've found I'm not hopeful that Bitdefender will have a solution but they may surprise me. I'll leave out my normally snarky comments <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6031943/uploads/ipb_attachments/emoticons/default_smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="https://us.v-cdn.net/6031943/uploads/ipb_attachments/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> except for this one: The first thing support asked is that I uninstall Malwarebytes which I did and it did not resolve the issue. If you've seen my other posts I'm not on board with with Bitdefender's "Malwarebytes bad!" philosophy but that's way off topic here.</p>
<p>
Rescue Mode doesn't work on either of my Windows PCs so I assume it's a local configuration issue. Both PC's config is Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, UEFI install (not legacy BIOS), GPT partitioned SSD drive. I'm ignoring that one is a laptop and the other a desktop, and the drives are SSD. I assume it is UEFI or GPT (and why GPT would make a difference I don't know but at this point it's just information). I confirmed Rescue Mode works in a virtualized Windows 7 x64 environment to eliminate Windows 7 x64 as being part of the problem.</p>
<p>
The laptop kept reporting there wasn't enough space on the drive which I know isn't correct. I deleted all the Rescue Mode files from the root of C: and did a repair of BDTS and the error message changed to notify me Secure Boot was enabled. I went into the laptop Setup and changed from UEFI only to allow both UEFI and legacy BIOS (turned off Secure Boot) and to boot legacy BIOS first. After that the previous "not enough space on disk" message came back. I also tried BIOS only.</p>
<p>
I swapped in the original HDD that came with the laptop which is an MBR formatted drive and a BIOS Windows installation. Sure enough, Rescue Mode <u>worked like a champ</u>. With Malwarebytes running (oops, sorry, keep it classy  <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6031943/uploads/ipb_attachments/emoticons/default_rolleyes.gif" alt=":rolleyes:" /> ). </p>
<p>
What confused the issue is that I grabbed the command that Bitdefender to setup and launch Rescue Mode and running it from an elevated command prompt because it didn't seem to modify the BCD store at all on the UEFI installs. Using BCDEdit I manually added the entry necessary to boot Rescue Mode (effectively creating a dual boot which Bitdefender does not recommend) and Rescue Mode still did not work. So whether the BCD store is being updated or not the system still does not boot in Rescue Mode. I grabbed EasyBCD and installed a quick Linux distro that uses the same type of BCD entry to boot (Real-mode Boot Sector) and it also doesn't boot so (assuming that was a valid test) I'm focused on UEFI. I don't see why UEFI would keep the BCD from being modified so I think it's a red herring and possibly a flaw in my attempts to collect data.</p>
<p>
That's where I left off. At this point I'm focused on UEFI vs BIOS. I'm not the smartest guy in the room and usually consider myself one of the hammers in the bag. I only have a light understanding of many of the things I mentioned, but I'm technical and curious and hope this helps Bitdefender resolve my problem and hopefully someone else's and make a better product for everyone. For the older PC I originally needed to scan (Mom's) the Rescue CD wouldn't work and I had to do almost as much work to come to the conclusion that I was not going to be able to resolve the "needs 1024" video resolution issue and ran a different product. I don't expect that issue on my two PCs where Rescue Mode doesn't work but I'd rather use the current tools for some unknown, stubborn reason.</p>
<p>
Thanks for any suggestions and I'll put on my fireproof pants if you want to unload on this. I consider myself stuck until I come up with any more half-backed ideas so I appreciate any assistance. At this point my question is how a UEFI install of Windows could interfere with booting up an alternate OS when the Laptop is set to UEFI/BIOS with bios as preferred.</p>

I've installed in my brother's pc (Windows XP SP3) the Bitdefender Internet Security 2014. He also uses Outlook Express (!) as a mail client. On Friday he ran a full system scan. Bitdefender found a troyan in one mail, moved it to quarantine and then deleted the whole inbox.dbx file (!).  I tried to restore it through Antivirus -&gt; Events but the file is not restored. I search in the Outlook Express folder and I can not find it. </p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I turned on the PC this morning and noticed the Bitdefender Security Widget was dispalying a Red circle with a cross in it saying there was an issue that needed fixing. I checked further and it says the 'On-access scanning is disabled' no matter what I do I can't get the 'On-access scanning to start' there is a window that says click on Start to fix the problem but it returns a comment that it Failed.</p>

Any thoughts, is there a problem at Bitdefenders end, all was working fine last night when I turned off the PC, all other functions of the Anti-Virus appear to be working fine.</p>]]>

<p>
I noticed that after the last program update that AVC is messing with Opera Browser v22 If AVC is on when I open Opera I get the browser GUI but it won't load anything &amp; the tabs just say loading, it should load the speed dial. If I turn AVC off in BitDefender AV+ 2014 then Opera works great, if I turn AVC back on Opera still works &amp; can browse until I close it.</p>

<p>
Can this be fixed ASAP as I shouldn't have to use another browser just because BD doesn't like Opera.</p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I have been getting "Infected web resource detected" 100's of times the past few days.  It's always with explorer.exe accessing some different advertising website even when I have NO browser open.  I have run full virus scans and 25 were found and cleaned out.  But I keep getting this same error over and over and over.</p>

Just a minute ago, I got a message randomly pop up that said something about some execution error: click Ok, or Details.  So, I clicked details and this following text popped up in Notepad.  So, now I am really getting worried that somebody is trying to hack into my pc and run something.  Stupid Bitdefender is NOT DEFENDING ANYTHING!  I think I need to reformat everything and reinstall to get rid of this since Bitdefender can't seem to get rid of it!!  I already have 2 tickets in, but got no response yet.</p>

I had read in the instructions : Try a recover tool but the tool is not on the computer / Bitdefender Essential. When I go to my bitdefender there is not a click / button on repair/uniinstall.</p>

Chat session last monday and thursday.  No reaction from Bitdefender.....In the chat they say we work on the problem.....more than a week no reaction ?</p>
<p>
It is frustrating than Bitdefender paying custumers more than a week won't help in a buisness where they have to know that a computer has to be protected.  </p>
<p>
There is no contact possible in Dutch or annything for persons from Holland. Can annybody help me ?</p>

(Bitdefender is inactief. Hij geeft constant aan de computer opnieuw op te moeten starten. Dit werkt niet. Er zou volgende de gebruiksaanwijzing een recover tool zijn maar die is niet aanwezig.         <description><![CDATA[<p>I upgraded my system to windows 7. I currently use an older olympus digital camera. I can no longer upload my pictures from my usb drive. Bitdefender starts scanning the drive and lists all of the pics as viruses and now i can not access the usb drive at all. I have tried every thing. I read this in a thread and made sure I did all of this and am still having the problem! I need help. I need to be able to load my pictures on my laptop.</p>

 Bitdefender don't have any feature to block removable media like Eset offers. There are only two settings related to removable media</p>
<p>
1) Antivirus &gt; Vulnerability &gt; Media Auto Run (ON or OFF)</p>
<p>
2) Antivirus &gt; Exclusions &gt; Scan USB Devices (Auto Scan, Disabled, Ask Every Time)</p>
<p>
But Bitdefender does block automatic opening options that prompted when you insert the USB devices if you enable any of above said options.</p>]]>

I am running Bitdefender 2014 Total Security on an HP envy dv7-7202tx laptop running windows 8.1 (64bit).  Up until this point it has been fine no issues.  An autoscan started running but hasn't progressed above 1% complete.  The File/second is stated as 1 and the scan has been running for 214 hours as of this post.  It is not a huge issue as it is not drawing massive resources 0.5% CPU and 1.6MB RAM no disk usage.  I have tried force closing the process in Task manager with no success.  When I stop the scan using the built in Bitdefender stop scan the elapsed time pauses briefly then carries on as before.  Same thing when I try to force close it in Task Manager.</p>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I have BDTS 2014, my software a few times has told me that that on scan access has disabled itsself and when i try to enable it, it won't, usually doing a repair install fixes it for a few weeks then it usually happens again at some point.</p>
<p>
Yesterday though it happened and i done a repair install, afterwards i done a full scan and it told me my system isn't fully clean and it recommended restarting in rescue mode, which i did.</p>
<p>
That linux rescue seems good for emergencies but i had to add every folder in my c: one by one, surely there should be an option to just scan the entire drive without having to do that, or am i missing something?</p>
<p>
Anyway after adding all the folders and doing a scan, it said my laptop was clean and nothing was found, which puzzled me, after my laptop restarted, i done another full scan and this time it said my laptop was clean and didn't mentoin anything about needing to go into rescue mode.</p>
<p>
So i am puzzled now if my drive is clean, my software every few weeks always stops working as i mentioned above and i keep needing to do repair installs yet even in rescue mode it says its clean.</p>
<p>
I have run other software and they also say my drives clean.</p>
<p>
BD is really statring to get on my nerves, if my system is clean then this software isn't fit for use as it keeps breaking itself.</p>
<p>
Can anyone offer any help?</p>
