I do not see an option to turn on any kind of antispam for the emails coming into my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. I'm using the email service that came with the phone. I use IMAP with my business email accounts if any of that matters.

On my desktop app there's an antispam option to turn on or off. Am I missing something or is Bitdefender missing something?

Thanks

I have trouble with outlook 2003 since I installed "BD internet security 2015".

Outlook worked until now perfectly. Since I installed this BD IS 2015, I cannot send mails. I write an email, then push the "send/receive" button in outook, but my email stays in the "outbox" forever. If I put it to drafts, then send it again, after several tries, it works at last and it is being sent. This is quite disturbing.

I would be happy to use ONLY the antivirus part of BD IS 2015, and I would to deactivate all the things in BD that are connected to spam filter and firewall.

	How can I do that?

I already deactivated the spam filter in the BD control panel, but the problem remains the same in Outlook 2003.

Can I install a "BD antivirus 2015" and use it with the licence for the "BD internet security 2015" that I already have?

	thanks in advance!

About a week ago my outlook email for a specific account would no longer receive emails. It would make the attempt and then shortly after I would receive an error like below from Outlook. The error was always the same but the server response would be variable and contain weird fragments of HTML:

Task 'xxxx@xxxx.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: ...BUNCH OF WEIRD HTML TAGS...

After days of googling and trying all sorts of recommendations I could not find a way to get outlook to receive emails from that account. As a last resort I finally shut off all features of Bitdefender and my email could be received. I narrowed down the culprit and the only way I can now receive emails is if I shut off the antispam feature.

Any explanation on why this is happening and is there something I can do to fix the issue so I can continue to have the antispam feature active.

1. Outlook 2013 crashes frequently and generates an error report that Bitdefender Antispam "decreased performance or caused Outlook to crash"

2. If Outlook does work (only occasionally) then Errors appear informing me that it cannot send or receive emails because "your server does not support the encryption type you have specified". My ISP requires the use of SSL and this is causing the problem.

In it's current form Bitdefender is useless so I have uninstalled it to get my emails functional. If this issue cannot be resolved quickly then I shall seek a refund and buy something else.
