I have "alert mode" enabled so it always asks me whether to allow/deny a new application's access to the internet, or after that application has changed. For example:
Problem: Since an apparent Bitdefender update around yesterday, it's been repeatedly asking me to approve the same exact applications back to back, over and over.
It eventually stops, but seemingly only temporarily, because it will later ask to approve the same application again after a delay of a while (minutes).

Notes about the screen recording:
- You can mostly see it's been
msedgewebview2.exe, but there are a couple other repeated ones too you'll see spread throughout such as Creative Cloud Helper.exe and CRWindowsClientService.exe. There's also other applications triggering similar repeated prompts that aren't shown, it's not just these. - Every time I click "approve", it adds an entry to the list, so you can see just how many times it's been asking me the different applications.
- The entries are only added to the "Notifications" list after I click Allow on the toast prompt. Likewise, if I click the X or Block it, it instead adds an entry saying it was not allowed.
Other notes / observations:
- I've noticed in the past that it would occasionally ask me to Allow applications I thought I had already approved, but never to this degree, so I had always assumed the application really had just updated in-place or something and it triggered multiple queued prompts. But I've never seen it do it this many times.
- I assume it is queuing up the requests because I often turn the computer on in the morning after I wake up, then don't come back to it until I'm done getting ready which might be like 30-60 minutes later. So all these notifications were after I had come back and the computer was idle for a while.
- So maybe it only noticed one change, but periodically tried to "re-ask" me, but didn't clear out the previous 'ask' in the queue.
- However I'm not sure, because at one point I thought it was done and it stopped prompting me, but then maybe a minute later it did it again.
- I checked the hash of the msedgewebview2.exe file between several of the prompts and it wasn't changing, which further makes me assume it queued up multiple of the same prompt for some reason.
- After approving the application once, it does seem to allow the application to access the internet. The repeated prompts seem to not be necessary. I forgot to test what would happen if I denied it or X'd it out on the most recent request though, so I'm not sure if the most recent action "overwrites" the last.
- I noticed right after the update (which I knew about because it gave me a toast about it right before), it seemed to reset the approved applications, because it started prompting me about every application. Which was a bit annoying but I figured it would be a one time thing.
- Most of the applications I approved don't seem to be now triggering repeated prompts, but there are definitely repeat offenders, such as the ones in the screen recording and a couple others such as backblaze's
bztransmit64.exe.
