How to Install on Windows for ARM / Snapdragon?

I have been trying to install bitdefender on two machines that are running Windows on ARM - a Samsung and an HP Envy X2 LTE. Install always fails. Anyone else having similar issues on ARM / Snapdragon based Windows 10 laptops? Thanks

Hello PaulieP,

Unfortunately Bitdefender cannot be installed on Windows on ARM and for this reason the install fails. The system requirements for Windows Os are the following:

RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  Operating System: Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10

  CPU: Intel CORE 2 Duo (2 GHz) or equivalent processor
  
• 
  Memory (RAM): 2 GB
  
• 
  Available free hard disk space: 2.5 GB free space
  

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

  Internet Explorer version 10 or higher

I have been attempting to introduce bitdefender on two machines that are running Windows on ARM - a Samsung and a HP Envy X2 LTE. Introduce dependably falls flat. Any other individual having comparable issues on ARM/Snapdragon based Windows 10 PCs? Much obliged

Yes. Trying to run Bitdefender on virtualised Windows 11 ARM-mac. Doesn't work.

How can it not be in Bitdefenders roadmap to fix this?

As of August 28, 2023 Bitdefender’s security solutions are compatible with ARM-based Windows computers, providing users with reliable protection against a range of digital threats.

While Bitdefender VPN and Parental Control are currently not available for ARM-based Windows devices, Bitdefender is actively working to make them compatible in the near future.
