From one of the best to below the worst

Bitdefender Total Security has gone from one of the best security suites to below Windows Security Essentials, which I consider one of the least secure security suites. No customer support AT ALL! This product has become nothing more than BLOATWARE. It slowed my computer down to where it was like 2001 again starting at least the first week of October, 2023; waiting forever for browser searches take up to 15 minutes. And then I tried to get tech support, but the server was "unavailable" or immediately went to the "bad gateway" message for everything. Then after removing it and trying to reinstall it, BUBKISS BUT A FROZEN PAGE. So I decided to use a search engine that isn't good for much, Edge, which is the most unsecure browser on the planet, and low and behold, I was able to find this forum. I hate that I ever recommended this platform to anyone. Tech companies like this should be ashamed of themselves for charging money for their products.

There must have been something else going on with your device? At one time I had BD Total Security installed on 5 devices, Windows 10 and 11, and never had long browser hesitations or search issues as you're describing. I was also able to use FF, Chrome, Brave and Edge without any problem on those PCs.
As far as BD security-wise, they are consistantly up there with the best of them, in independent tests as well as AV-Comparatives. (I do not regard AV Test.org as reliable)

It sounds like we started off on the wrong foot here. I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you. I'm not sure what could have caused the 'bad gateway' error, but I'm sure you can get hold of the Support teams using one of the contact channels available at the link above. You can choose from chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them, so I would recommend trying this contact option first. Reset your browser, clear the cache and cookies, check your internet connection and restart your device if needed. Multiple contact options are there and working and the Bitdefender Support teams are one of the best you'll ever find.

FYI, during the weekend, the Bitdefender Support Center's website:
and the Bitdefender Consumer Support's website
were unavailable, they simply didn't work.
Now, everything works fine on those two websites.

When I checked on Friday, the link was working, so it must have been a true Sat and Sunday issue as you mentioned. About 3 days before the 25th? I was getting time-out issues with that Contact Support site.

Unlike @Alexandru_BD, i'm NOT out of the office during the weekends, so i check those website even for the weekends. 😁
And like i already said, they didn't work ONLY for the weekend.

Indeed, I confirm there has been a small issue over the weekend, but this has been resolved and all contact channels are now operational. So, it was bad timing for @palmtreeherby since they were experiencing some issues at the same time when the support page was unresponsive. Sorry for that.
