Windows 7 Crash
Hi
Following a successful installation of BitDefender Total Security 2013 and at the point of the reboot, Wndows 7 crashes at startup. It then goes into auto-recovery mode but fails to recover. It then provides the option to rollback to the last restore point.
I have attempted this twice with the sames results. Between installs I have performed a full uninstall using the BD provided tool.
Any ideas?
Ahab

Hi
Please follow the steps explained in the article below and send me via PM the generated log file:

Hi
Despite following these instructions and providing this information, I have had no response from you. You have also not responded to my follow up emails - what is going on? If you can sell a product that crashes a working Windows machine, the least you could do is attempt to answer the question (even if you simply say that you can't fix it).
As you can probably tell, I'm very frustrated with you lack of support....0 -
Hi
I'm having pretty much the same problem: Installed Antivirus Plus 2013 on one of my PCs, running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, which is now working absolutely fine. However, when I tried to install it on my second PC, running Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, the installation appears at first to have worked fine but as soon as you reboot the computer, on startup windows fails to boot - you get 'blue screen death' and (exactly as you've said) it then goes into auto-recovery mode but fails to recover. As you've described, the only way to get back into Windows is to rollback to the last restore point (before Antivirus installation took place).
I have attempted this thrice with the sames results. Between installs I also performed a full uninstall using the BD provided tool.
I've been running BD for the last 3 or 4 years with no problems until now, but am stumped by this one!
Somebody please help!

Hello everyone
@ Ahab
I did not receive via PM the logs from you.
If you have a ticket created in the system, please post here the ID and I will further investigate your case.
@ Rusty
Do you have Service Pack 1 on that second system?
Have a great weekend!0
