Hi Daffy, and welcome
Try running CCleaner in normal cleaner mode to delete any temp files, then try using the direct, full download version from this link please read the top bold text of that page, and see if that helps.
Also confirm your system requirements form here: http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/total...ity.html#System "System Requirements"
Kind regards,
Cloumbo

Hi Daffy,
Yes, CCleaner will do that automatically for you by running "Cleaner". With that link I provided for CCleaner, just download the free version, then run that before you try re-installing Bitdefender.
Keep us posted,

Thank you for trying the steps that we went through
This will be something our forum Tech Support mod. Christian, will have to follow up with you on. Due to the time difference between this forum, and Romania, it could (probably would) be early tomorrow morning before your thread is answered, or a little later.
If you wanted to use phone support, here is the list of numbers: http://www.bitdefender.com/support/consumer-phone.html
They may find it helpful if you allowed the report to be submitted.
Be assured, Bitdefender is very good about taking care of new customers, so not to worry there.
Again Daffy, thank you for trying our troubleshooting steps, at least there is more info. for support to go buy, as far as what's been tried.

I think that antivirus is working (there isnt any message from windows that there isnt any antivirus activated) but this message pop up when i try to open the .exe file.Lets hope someone ll find what is wrong.(Should format help?I can also do a format but if it dont help i am gonna lose so many time )0 -
I couldnt edit previous reply.
Edit : I install it on my sisters laptop and it dont have error i am gonna format.0 -
Thanks for that info. Daffy. At this time I would not format or do anything, until you can get better in depth analysis of what caused the error message on your PC.
The phone support is open 24hrs (for most countries) if you wanted. Otherwise I'd let things be for now, as Bitdefender phone support/Christian may need Bitdefender up and running as it is now, to try for a log file.
If you we're to by chance have any more of major type of issue, I would uninstall it using the 2013 Uninstall Tool, and enable Windows Defender, with Windows Firewall to get you by until you get help, again, just if you have more issues.

Of course that choice is up to you, as far as the course of action you want to take...I too also missed the 5 minute window to edit my above post
