[Fixed] Very Frustrating Problem With Bitdefender, Bandwidth Usage, Bandwidth Consantly And Massivel
Hi,
I have problem with IDM. When I download file by IDM, after I press "Pause" or "Cancel", then IDM pause but status of cFosSpeed still load and Internet slower. I must set Network type: "Untrusted" in a time in Firewall of Bitdefender or change my IP address to solve it.
I face with this issue when I upgrade Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 to 2013. This issue is happened when I download at few servers (not all) such as mediafire.com or download Birdefender by Direct link in this forum,...
I installed IDM 6.12 build 7 beta and IDM 6.11 Final, but issue remains.
Picture:
I am downloading Bitdefender IS 2013 x64, and then I pause IDM, but status of cFosSpeed still load.
I'm using Windows 8 RP x64, Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 and IDM ver 6.12 build 7 Beta.
Regards.

Hello, look with a tool like TCPView times whether the IDM to connect to the status of "Fin Wait" has. I think that BitDefender namely preventing the server receives a stop signal and therefore the download keeps running. Little by little so clogged your data line. Is an old problem that has occurred in the massive release 2011th Google time after "Ghost BitDefender Traffic."

Needn't restart your computer. Go to this website http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb897437.aspx and download tool TCPView. Whenever that issue occur by IDM, you run it and see column "State", right-click, then choose "Close Connection" for all status "FIN_WAIT". Currently, only this way while they perhaps don't care this problem.0 -

I have problem with any when download with IDM
But I try to downloading with Google Chrome / FF / IE, I don't see any issue0 -
Hi, it's my first time here.
Now to the point. I'm using JDownloader 2 (but I've checked this also on JDownloader first gen) and I've noticed that even though I stopped my downloads, or they canceled themselves because of hosting service issue, I've still had all my bandwidth taken by JDowloader connections. It didn't changed even when I killed JDownloader process! The only way to stop this was to disable my wifi connection manually. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN WHEN I UNINSTALL BITDEFENDER. I've spent all day trying to solve it but I failed.
Things I've tried:
installing BIS 2011, BIS 2012
reinstalling BIS 2013
cleaning registry with CCleaner
all with restarting my laptop every time and stuff...
offline installation of BIS 2012, BIS 2013
And here might be some hint. When I installed BIS 2012 using offline installer and didn't do update things were working properly (stopping JDownloader downloads = no bandwidth taken). But after doing the update they didn't
Offline installation of BIS 2013 didn't have any positive effect.
So guys please solve it because it seems you've broke something during updates and the only version which is fine is: BIS 2012 15.0.36.1530 Vir signatures 7727593, Engine ver 7.40820 but what's the point of having antivirus if I can't update it!0 -

The same goes for JDownloader. Thanks realkaka2204 for info about TCPView, at least I don't have to restart my wifi connection or my laptop now.0 -
Does the new update fix this problem or still working on it?

I don't use IDM but I have the same issue with JDownloader and nothing is changed, still can't stop downloading.0 -
Hello
A product update was released. Your build should be 16.20.0.1483(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).
In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
Changelog:

Let me know if the situation is solved.

Thank you for your answer. Yes I know about the update, and yes system is updated (I've chcecked twice to be sure) and rebooted bunch of times since then. Update didn't solve my problem. What I know now is that it's somehow connected to the case where people can't stop connections initiated by IDM (this is also a downloader). It's the same situation only that I use JDownloader instead of IDM. Only manual "finish connection" in TCP View works for me as temporary fix. Please solve this issue as it was all good in BIS 2012 (version without updates) and now it's broken and it's really annoying to launch a second app just to close connections. It shouldn't be so hard to fix as you probably can revert something to the way it was in BIS 2012 right?0 -

After downloading a link from IDM(Internet Download Manager), if i cancel downloading but vsserv.exe steals internet maximum bandwidth even if i stop IDM queue.
its a big problem for ADLS traffic based service.
Product Info: Bitdefender 2012, 2013 Antivirus, Internet Security Tested
Monitor Tools: Process Hacker 2.27
Temporary Solution: Disable/Enable Network Adapter.
Permanent Solution: ? ! ?0 -
Bug walkthrough:
1. Run Proxifier
2. Resume link from IDM
3. Stop Downloading
4. See vsserv.exe I/O network loading in Process Information Tools.(Maximum Bandwidth)
5. Disable/Enable Network Adaptor and see again.(Normal Bandwith)0 -
