Installtion Failed Ts2013
Hi, I'm trying to install the free trial of Total Security 2013 on my Dad's computer but can't seem to do it! The computer is Windows 7 64bit and meets all the requirements.
I was getting an exception error but I then downloaded the 64bit offline installer from here and it now goes through to the scanning/downloading/installing phase but when it finishes scanning and starts to install it stops and says install failed but doesn't say why.
We were using Avast but uninstalled it and restarted before hand as said in the guide, I also clicked "no" when it asked about downloading the newer files and I took the internet connection offline but it just keeps saying failed.
Any ideas on where I'm going wrong? Thanks.

Also, do you have Service Pack 1 installed via Windows Updates?

Managed to sort it! We found there were still Kaspersky files (it had that on before avast), now they've gone it has installed
