How To Remove Adware.bho.wqb
Hello Everyone, this is my first time postiing
I am trying to remove Adware.BHO.WQB. I recently scanned my computer using bitdefender Total Security 2008 and told me could not delete or quarantine these files.
They are are located in the System Volume Information folder but I cannot access this folder. Can someone provide some advice on how to get rid of this

Dear Eves_Montan
Normally when you selected to remove you should have seen the option to reboot your pc. The reason why you can't see that folder is because it's a hidden folder go to tools, folders options,display/view,uncheck hide protected operating system files confirm the warning ,check also show hidden files and folders press on apply. Now you will find that folder rightclick on it and press on BitDefender 2008. Choose as action delete. You will have the opportunity to delete these restore points at the next boot click to the reboot.

Thank you, I have just done that and done another scan and the files have been deleted. However, I no longer see the bit defender window display which shows the ongoing protection. It usually appears at the bottom right of the screen.

Try starting things up in your start menu

Dear Eves_Montan
Double click on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock after that press on settings once you are in BitDefender Security Center. After that press on advanced and press on default settings and press on ok. Glad that I could help you.

Dear Eves_Montan
Try unchecking and press on ok. Reboot your pc now check the option again and press on ok.
Go to start, run, type services.msc press enter and check if the BitDefender comminucator service is started.
Best regards

I have done what you said and the Bitdefender Communicator is running but still I do not say the activity bar on the screen. I am logged in as Administrator. Sometimes when I log in to the computer as a Guest user the activity bar appears.
