Autoscan Disabled With Windows 8 Install

I installed windows 8 pro over windows 7 and suddenly my autoscan will not enable on my bd internet security 2013. I already tried re-downloading bd internet security 2013 and re-installing but it still will not enable the autoscan! Any ideas anyone?

    I just followed the instructions and uninstalled completely and then re-installed from my original download file and now all is well. Thanks!
