No Access To Most Sites, After Installation Of Last Bitdefender Internet Security Build

Hello,


After installing the last Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 Build, I have great difficiculty accessing the sites I use frequently -- Facebook, etc. There are no threats on my computer.


It is when I use a LAN cable that I have this issue--no page found.


I have changed the firewall settings as suggested in this post: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry171069, to no avail.


Wifi connections work fine.


I am using Firefox 20.0.1, Google Chrome (up-to-date),


Windows 7 Ultimate 32bits.


I would be really grateful if you could help.

  • I have the same problem with Build 16.29.0.1830.


    I am using Firefox 21.0


    Window 7 Home Premium 64bit.


    I am usually using a wired connection to the internet.


    This is extremely irritating. I am stuck with this for 3 years, but I may cut my loses and get a different antivirus software.


    I also would like a solution to this problem -please.

    Please Uninstall BDIS 2013 with BD 2013 Removal tool http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35494


    Then Please Install BDIS again.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled BDIS 2013. I will evaluate and come back with an update.

  • After uninstalling and re installing BDIS 2013, there is a significant improvement. My system freezes only intermittently and momentarily while updating or scanning.

  • Disable Scan SSL option from Privacy Control.
