Restart After Every Update

My laptop needs to restart several times a day because of Bitdefender updates. I can understand that locked files can't be replaced while the Pc is running but it was rare that I had to restart when I used Kaspersky. Is these restarts normal?

    I think I already asked this, or, if not, that's exactly why I'm here now!


    I've NEVER had to restart so often with ANY AV before, and I've used/tested a ton of them!
