I was running Total Internet Security 2014 and uninstalled it. When Bitdefender had been uninstalled, internet explorer worked fine without any crashes. I downloaded the latest installer which has upgraded me to 2015 and the same crashing problem occurs.
This was the most recent error (2015):

I have noticed that when running the earlier version of Bitdefender, the stackhash error code was always the same. However, updating the version generates a different fault module error, either the above StackHash_56f5 or StackHash_8f99.
I'm looking for some tech support please, so I can continue to use IE.

I use the BD Free. The past 3 days my computer (Win 7) has been running extremely slow at times. And my IE 11 keeps crashing. This seems to have started after some sort of BD update. If I turn off BD then my computer returns to normal. If I turn BD back on then my computer might run normal for a few minutes to an hour. But always bogs down again. Turning off BD solves it. I have run diagnostics on my HDD as well as Win 7, and my memory. All have passed. In my opinion there was a bad download from BD recently that is causing problems. I hope they identify the problem and fix it soon.

Well, it seems to have been a 24 hour thing, perhaps solved by a new update??

Same here. The problem is gone on my end also.

Problem is back again tonight. After an on demand scan BD became unresponsive. My computer once again became extremely slow. Had to boot into safe mode and disable BD from starting up. Upon reboot all is well again except BD is not running. Something needs to be done to fix this soon or I will be finding another antivrus program. I've had BD since April 2014 and this is the first problem I have had wit it. But it is a huge one.
