Is it just me, or are these applications showing up as a false positive? For a little while, Google Play Services was showing up on this list as well.

Applications:

Chrome Remote Desktop: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...sktop&hl=en

It happens to me too. So far it says the following apps have Trojan.AndroRAT.A:

    - Google Play Games

    - Google Authenticator

    - Google Keep

    - Google Calendar

These are all obtained from Google Play Store, no 3rd party sources active. I noticed this after today's update of Google Play Games.

Do you have a Samsung by any chance?

  • I also within the last hour got (1) a notification from Bitdefender telling me that Google Play Services and Google+ were infected with Trojan.AndroRAT.A; and (2) on scanning the device with Bitdefender, I'm told that Google's Camera app is infected with Trojan.AndroRAT.A (but Google Play Services and Google+ are not listed again).

    I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

  • I do not have a Samsung. I'm on a Nexus 4, running 5.1.1 (LMY47V).

I've been ignoring these alarms for now, because I don't want to uninstall them if I don't have to.

Same here, LG Nexus 5, only for Google Play Services... no solution yet?

  • Hello,

This was a glitch and subsequently a mishap regarding our monitoring systems led to delays in identifying and fixing it.

The issue should be fixed for all users, but please post back if you are still seeing this.
