hi,after bd free edition installed a root certificate for firefox i also can not connect to secure websites anymore. bd's is aware of this and posted an advice to turn off ssl-scan: https://www.bitdefender.com/support/what-to-do-when-security-certificates-cannot-be-verified-installed-1090.html how can i turn of ssl with the free edition ?thanks
I don't think you can turn off SSL scanning, but you can add websites that you want to exclude from scanning separately.
No choice but to uninstall Bitdefender free. Support's solution was to buy their paid product so you can turn off SSL Scan. Absurd behaviour for a security product.
