BD is working on my system even if not detected by that useless Windows Defender security center.

But yes, it looks like an issue

  • Also Status unavailable.

  • I was having the same issue with Windows 7 after updating to 2019.  It happens when you login to windows immediately at boot without any delay.  When I do that I get that stupid windows notification error telling me I don't have anti-virus nor firewall protection.  Here is the trick that worked for me.  When windows boot_s and your at the login screen let it sit there for a few minutes (I know pain in the butt and ridiculous) then login.  Should resolve the issue.  Once in a while it would still show up but majority of the time if I wait minutes (not seconds) then login the issue is gone.

  • Sorry I was wrong ; protection is recognized as enabled on my system

  • Windows 10 Pro Dutch version 1809

Bitdefender Total Security 2019 version 23.0.10.31

  • Its will show in Security Providers page.

    Thanks.

    I found the wright window:

Bitdefender Antivirus is ingeschakeld = enabled

Bitdefender Firewall is ingegeschakeld = enabled

  • Hi Everyone,

Like /index.php?/profile/214702-jay-z/&do=hovercard" data-mentionid="214702" href="<___base_url___>/index.php?/profile/214702-jay-z/" rel="">@Jay-Z mentioned, this most commonly does occur on more modern devices when logging into windows before some services are able to start or get running but should you wish to make sure they are indeed running you can query them in command prompt with the following cmdlets:

    sc query vsserv

    sc query bdauxsrv

    sc query trufos

    sc query ignis

We will however keep an eye out for similar scenarios.

    Thanks!

  • Hey,

Unfortunately, I can no longer find the “Security Providers page“on my system”.

    Please give me any support.

    Thanks.

For me, everything is perfect with Windows 10 ver 1809.

      Bitdefender is perfectly compatible!

  • I am having a similar problem with Windows 10 1803. Bitdefender is not recognized as a security provider, so I have to disable Windows Defender manually and deal with the constant notifications about it being off.  Will there be a fix?

Nevermind - the latest Bitdefender update seems to have fixed it.
