TrafficLight plugins showing different results for different browsers

Friends,

Got a question about TrafficLight plugins. I activate them on Safari, Firefox ann Chrome.

When accessing http://forums.scamadviser.com TrafficLight on Safari is reporting malicious BitcoinMiner.SX virus. When accessing very same page on Firefox and/or Chrome the plugins are quiet. Shouldn't the plugins act in same way on all browsers ?

  • This is depend on Browser Guidelines. Google chrome, Firefox and safari actual guidelines is different. They not work same direction. If you use traffic light plugin any browser, you face some little bit problems for related traffic lights.

  • For users wondering what to do now that WOT has been confirmed to be a spyware, your alternative is to use opensource security softwares. I recommend using uBlock Origin and NoScript myccpay

You can browse pretty much any site without any concerns with those two installed. There's another awesome addon called uMatrix, which is made by the same developer as uBO, but you should get some experience with using uBO first.
