GAMBLING WEBSITE

I have a problem with PARENTAL CONTROL. I have a friend with gambling disease and I was hoping to be able to use the service to block betting sites. To my regret the filter is not so reliable. There is a way to block words entered in the site name such as "LUCKY", "BET", "FORTUNE".

    Hello @PjValiant ,

    1. Once the parental control is installed on your friends device, visit central.bitdefender.com and Login
    2. Click on Parental control tab
    3. Select the child profile details
    4. Select website tab and block the ‘Gambling’ category (see below screenshot)

    This blocks 99% of all gambling sites. You can also choose ‘Keyword filter’ to block sites that contains a specific keyword.

    Thanks & regards,

  • Unfortunately not all sites are recognized as betting / gambling and blocked, I have run a series of tests.

    Eg

    * Https: //www.superlinescasino.org/

    * Http: //librabet755.com/

    * Https: //bigbonus.it/

    Where is the "keyword filter" located?

    I have searched within the parental control but cannot find it.

    Thanks in advance😉

    Hello @PjValiant ,

    If you have the list of sites that needs to be blocked, then you can add those sites in blacklist (See the attached screenshots below for more details)

    Thanks & Regards,

  • ok, I tried but many sites like Http: //librabet755.com/ often have many domains like Http: //librabet355.com/, Http: //librabet450.com/...

    Do you know if there is a way to insert special characters like ??? or * to block the whole series?

    I know that the request seems strange but the sites are thousands and knowing them all is impossible.

    By blocking some words instead I could stop many more.
