So immediately searched for "Silver Sparrow" on BitDefender website-- other than this thread, no results.
It would be GREAT If BD could alert users when this protection is in place. It would reassure us that they are on top of the latest threats. Ideally, searching within the app for "Silver Sparrow" would rapidly reassure that protection for that specific threat is active.

I have a ticket in with support asking about Silver Sparrow with a link to this thread. I'll update here if I hear back.

Has there been any updates? I also opened a ticket, although I didn't see an option to select an OS above Mojave.

I chatted with an agent at their support centre yesterday. He had not even heard of Silver Sparrow and found nothing about it in their knowledge base. He opened a ticket with tech support and said they would email me. Nothing yet.
