Parallels .HDS file quarantined as containing a threat named "Generic.CorebotC"

After many months using "Bitdefender AV for Mac" it suddenly quarantined my Parallels Desktop .HDS file which effectively killed all access to Windows. All attempt to start Windows produced a message saying Windows no longer had a functional OS . I contacted Bitdefender Support and got no response despite numerous requests. I eventually used my back-up files to replace the quarantined file which I then deleted. BD Support responded days later to ask that I run Windows to produce a log file for them, they clearly had not read my email stating that Windows was non-functional.

I suspect this was probably a false positive but don't know for sure, posting here to ask if anyone else has experienced anything like this and whether or not anyone is familiar with a threat known as Generic.CorebotC.

Thanks, Les
