VSCode being blocked by Bitdefender (VSCode is an IDE)

Hi there,

I'm a software developer using VSCode to run terminal commands on Mac. Every time I install software packages using npm or yarn on VSCode's embedded terminal I get a question from Bitdefender asking if I approve the process or not. This is a pain in the ***. On top of that, I can't trust the processes forever - the option is grayed out and I can only trust for 5 min.

How to solve this? All terminal commands being run from VSCode's embedded terminal should be allowed even if that means risk - I just want to solve this once for all without having to deactivate the defense at all times.

Thank you
