seeking verification of authenticity of bitdefender support contact
Hello - I have been communicating online with what I think is bitdefender support - before I hand over payment for renewal I thought I'd check that their credentials are legitimate, and it's not spoofing.
Their email address comes up as the following - is this correct?

Don't worry, that is a legitimate e-mail address for Bitdefender Consumer Support when replying to your e-mails.

lol..even though I had replied, as you saw @antman , I took it down to get confirmation from Chat Support themselves. I just wanted to confirm the "ticket" part of the address, as everything else looked correct. Then Gjoksi came and hit it out of the ballpark :) Thanks for including me in your gratitude, though :)

There is a catch here. Bitdefender only has 2 support emails, one that deals with mobile related issues (bms@bitdefender.com) and one that deals with all the issues (bitsy@bitdefender.com)
So, when you send an email to any one of the above stated email address, you will receive a automatic reply from either bms@tickets.bitdefender.com or bdsupport@tickets.bitdefender.com respectively that will confirm a ticket has been created and further replies can be made on these ticket only until a particular issue is resolved.
In majority of platforms where bitdefender has accounts like twitter, facebook, trustpilot etc, bitdefender support usually ask customer to share additional details on bitsy@bitdefender.com
