Bitdefender VPN blocks PLEX server Settings?

While my Bitdefender VPN is on I am unable to access my PLEX server settings. I've set up split tunneling for the PLEX media server on the VPN so I'm not sure what's happening. This is occurring while trying to access the PLEX server settings while on the same computer that the PLEX server is located so I'm not remoting in either. Does Bitdefender VPN just not work along with PLEX?

    I followed that article up to getting a different VPN and still having the same issue. I'll have to ask an engineer I guess.

    Does bitdefender plan on fixing their VPN tunneling? It has known defects with at least plex for a few years now. It would be helpful to say when it will be upgraded, or if it is not going to be fixed let us know so we can first see if there is a competitor product that works correctly with tunneling (most don't, I've tried three others that all have tunneling features and whatever they did does not work correctly as it blocks plex access from the outside web to movie files on your PC at home). Canned help scripts that merely say how to find then setup tunneling are not helpful. We already know how it works, every executable in the program file is in there and also plex.tv is in there. Still bitdefender blocks it. Help us customers!
