I guess by your statement if you have a problem, in that case you might have be infected with the ransomware. Did you upload the encrypted file on https://id-ransomware.malwarehunterteam.com/

There are millions of ransomware samples on the internet and one cannot expect bitdefender to detect all of them. If you have the sample of the stated ransomware kindly share them with malware researchers.

If you think a website/ file is not detected by bitdefender as malicious or phishing, kindly use the forum in the below stated link to report them to malware research team.

If website/ file is indeed malicious or phishing, detection will be added in maximum of 72 hours and if the detection is not available even after 72 hours, consider the website/ file as safe by malware researchers and detection will not be created against them.

Additionally, to check on the sample you will have to provide either with the hash of the file or the sample itself to the malware research team. Sharing the videos will not do any good and will lead to nowhere.

I also searched the web related to ransomware uwu and there was no specific result available. If you can find a specific website that can confirm the availability of uwu ransomware, kindly share the same in reply to this comment.

Well, if you do not have the sample or the hash of file, then malware research team can do nothing about it.

There are multiple youtubers that do testing on antimalware products but are not recognized. Antimalware companies do not rely on the testing done by them, what they do rely on is the testing done by various companies like AV-Test, AV-Comparatives, MRG Effitas, SE Labs, Virus Bulletin, ICSA Labs, West Coast Labs & NSS Labs. Even though these are recognized antimalware testing companies still their results are taken as grain of salt.

@hobbitmannn let me ask you a simple question, do you expect bitdefender malware research team to create detection on the basis of watching the video. To create a detection the malware research team need to have atleast a file hash or the sample itself, without that even the malware research team is helpless. I am sorry but no more help can be provided related to this topic.

If in future you are able to figure out the file hash or manage to get hold of the sample you can share it with the malware research team by filling the below stated forum.

I already understood that you don't have the sample. In that case the undetected sample will remain undetected. Alternatively, you can also share your query and video link with bitdefender support team by dropping them an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com and tell them to share the same with malware research team.

The support team will reply back to your query within next 24-48 hours excluding weekends.

I am going forward and closing this topic since no other help can be provided on the forum related to this topic.
