    Hi,

NGA.ThickClient.exe is likely a component of a legitimate software application used by your system or installed by a third-party program. To determine if it is safe, follow these steps:

    1. Check File Location:
      • The executable should be located in a program directory (e.g., C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)).
    2. Scan with Bitdefender:
      • Perform a full scan to ensure there are no threats associated with this file.
    3. Check Digital Signature:
      • Right-click the file, select Properties, and go to the Digital Signatures tab to verify the publisher.
    4. Research the Software:
      • Google the name of the executable to see if it's associated with known software.

If Bitdefender Total Security flags it as suspicious, it may be worth quarantining the file and monitoring your system for any unusual behavior. If unsure, you can contact Bitdefender support or your IT department for further assistance.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello.

NGA.ThickClient.exe is Dell software, a part of the MyDell application:

A thick client is a type of software that runs on a user’s computer or device. It has a rich interface, meaning it has a lot of features and functionalities, such as high-quality graphics, multimedia support, and real-time updates that improve the user experience. Therefore, thick client software requires a substantial amount of resources to run, including memory and processing power, because they run locally on the user’s device, contrary to a thin client, which mainly relies on server processing and storage. A thick client can run online and offline and deliver high degrees of functionality and performance.

So, it is safe and you have nothing to worry about.

    Regards.
