Bd Total Security 2009 Crashes Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
Hi,
I have recently install BD total security 2009 trial version on my laptop for testing if it is good or not before buying. Everything is fine but when I run Microsoft Office, it is crashing and can not open ( Not responding error message is seen). I deactivated Spam protection but nothing changed. So I uninstall BD, now Outlook has no problem. I want to use BD but in this case it seems it is impossible. How can I solve this crash problem?
Best Regards,

Dear ozyalcin,
If you are using vista: please right click on the outlook shortcut and click on run as administrator.
Be sure that outlook isn't running: press these 3 buttons together: ctrl+alt+delete go to the processes tab and see if you find outlook.exe, if so select it and press on end task.
After that:
Press the windows button together with r now type:
regsvr32 -u "%ProgramFiles%\BitDefender\BitDefender 2009\bdo.dll" press enter
now type this: regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\BitDefender\BitDefender 2009\bdo.dll" press enter.
Kind regards,

I'm having the same problem with Outlook 2003 and IS 2009. Outlook crashes when I try to work on the Outlook calendar. This is an XP computer. I uninstalled BD and Outlook worked perfectly. Is there a fix?

hi guys,
i had the same problems ever since i installed BD couple of mths back. Are there any solutions to that??
I am using Vista, Microsoft Office Outlook (2003).
Everytime i tried to open up any particular emails; the Outlook will "hanged" and shut down automatically.
This is really frustrating as it can happen to more than 10 times a day!!!!
i had to disable the "REAL-TIME ANTIVIRUS & ANTISPYWARE FILE PROTECTION" before i can get the Outlook to work normally. But if i had to disable that, then what is the function of the BD Software.
I am seriously thinking of asking for refunds of this BD but i had purchased it thru' resellers in Singapore. So i am not sure how will the refund go about.
Oh, another problem i had was with the FLASH Player. Prior to installing BD, i had no problems viewing any flash contents on my IE or Firefox. After installing BD, i can never load any flash contents. Each time i need to view flash contents, i had to make sure that i Uninstall my flash, then re-install back the flash. This happen to both IE and Firefox which also irritates me greatly.
*sigh* Wondering what BD Support could do to help in this cases.......
A very dissastified customer here.
