  • Well, BitDefender doesn't detect this file with the latest updates. Please update your signatures, and rescan the file. Cris. This is very weird, I updated and then extracted the file again from the archive I attached here, and it still caused the alert. I'm officially confused haha.
  • Hello Paddy, That is just a riskware detection not a virus/trojan/... detection. The only purpose of this detection is to inform people of a certain application that can cause harm when you don't have installed them. I don't know if BitDefender will remove the detection of it. What you can do is exclude it or don't let…
  • Another trainer blocked as a virus: "Application.Hatkeys.H" C:\Windows\sysWOW64\H@tKeysH@@k.dll Attached, with the same password. /applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=3694" data-fileid="3694" rel="">another_farcry2_trainer.rar
  • I woke up this morning to find that BitDefender had deleted the main exe of this program during a scheduled, claiming that it was a trojan. The details: File Detected/Deleted: C:\Program Files\SpywareBlaster\spywareblaster.exe Detection Name: Trojan.Agent.AIZM You can download the program and check it out for yourselves:…
  • I'm now getting 11 reports instead of 7. I haven't changed anything since my last post haha.
  • I'm convinced that it's a false positive. I ran the program in Sandboxie and installed the plugin. Everything was fine, and the only file created was the plugin file, "in_psf.dll" (MD5: 832735e1a1ed002449d393e719999f5c, filesize: 401408 bytes) which installed to the expected location. The plugin file itself isn't malicious…
  • I've attached the ntos.exe file in a RAR archive. I used Sandboxie to get the file safely hehe. Great little program, that! I noticed that there is another file that creates itself along with the ntos one. It's labelled "cals.exe", and I've attached that too. I hope I've done this right... Cheers!…
  • I've been noticing the "Internet Explorer ****** Error" that's been occurring for some people. It happens intermittently when I open the "advanced settings" of BD. I'm using BitDefender Total Security 2008, if that makes a difference. The error I get is exactly the same as the one that's been mentioned before:…
  • Hello Paddy, No, there isn't a way to schedule such scans. However, after the system boot_s up (and you log in Windows), BitDefender will scan all startup files (including boot sectors of the drives, if this option is enabled). What exactly do you want to scan before the system boot_s up? BD Rescue CD is something…
