the only way I can get remote desktop to work with defender 2016 is with the network card type to trusted....but it resets back to home after each restart......crap.

It's working, thank you Georgia. I did it on both problematic computers. Will be a pain if I have to upgrade all 10 pc's at the office...

It's sad you are still waiting for an answer. I have a similar problem. I have tried to install BD total security 2016 on 2 machines today and both are stuck at the account login after the install. I am able to log in to my account on the browser but not in the BD windows after the install to activate the software.

Have you tried to uninstall and install only your Bitdefender product. what do you mean ''only my bitdefender product'' ? I'm trying to install the latest bitdefender total security.

I may add that this error occur right after the install finish, just before the software ask for the registration.

My problem was that BD was always asking for a reboot and anti virus and firewall could not be enable. A repair settled it all.

+1 for that request. I have an hard time connecting with remote desktop and would love to have a disable option to quickly know if its bitdefender or something else.
