In the mean time, no one can shed any light on the implications of using the LAN in Trusted mode instead of Home/Office mode, as asked in http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=59324

Go into Protection-Firewall-Adapters and change the Network Type to Trusted. That is the only workaround until they fix this. I have no idea what other ramifications are for this change.

What should the ideal settings for Firewall be after the fix is pushed?

The problem is back. I have to set the adapter to trusted to access File and Printer shares. AFAIK by default when you install BD 2015 it sets up a Quick Scan, every two days and System Scan, once a week. You can modify the default scans or set up your own Custom Scan When these scans are going on, how do I monitor the progress and pause/stop the scan?

Has this finally been fixed? I'm now not getting (famous last words) this error anymore. It stays turned off and does not suddenly just start again.
