  • Hello Nick20, In order to be able to further investigate the issues caused by Registry Control we would like you follow the steps bellow : 1. Open My Computer. 2. Browse to C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2010 - considering that BitDefender was installed on the default C partition 3. Doubleclick on the…
  • I mean there is no such thing as the perfect software or best anti-virus(although Bitdefender seems to be the best in my opinion) and i mean things (problems) does happen. And a certain amount of time is needed to fix such issues. But at least acknowledge the users instead of ignoring(in my opinion) us and let us know what…
  • This problem just making me think twice(not only me the general public and that's a fact, just read the comments in the forum) about using Bitdefender. Really thought i finally found the best anti-virus and i have tried many, you just name them. But at last i think i was wrong. No wonder why a lot of users are uninstalling…
  • Working hard? It's been 4 days and we haven't heard anything yet, except some insolent comment from one of their moderators. I wouldn't get my hopes up, Northy. And this is what causing the…
  • i got the update but USB drives still don't work unless the registry is disable on Bidenfender Anti-Virus 2010. And still the weird characters that pops up with registry control enabled.
  • I have a similar problem but instead i cannot even use my USB unless i disable registry control. Check out my thread if you want here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=16573
  • I hope an update would soon fix the Registry Control because this is what causes the USB ports not to function. As long as the Registry control is disable it works. But without the Registry Control enabled, it defeats one of the main security aspects :( . I hope an update would soon fix this problem.
  • I have the same problem with the USB. I disable the registry control in Bitdefender and the USB works. You could try that until they fix the problem.
  • Could not edit my previous post. Made a mistake. P.S. I am still unable to execute a System Restore since installing Bitdefender Anti-virus 2010, and would like to know if any solution has been found for that problem. Thanks I have Bitdefender Anti-virus 2010.
