Possibly, you can also check at Steam and see if there are ports that you need to open up at the firewall in this case.
-
Don't worry about it. You should never have two firewalls running on the same machine. I think BD automatically disabled this for you. You will have problems in the future if you have both on.
-
This is unfortunate. Should BD give you a temporary license for this? I mean, it should show on their system that for your license key, you're only using one PC at the moment.
-
Quick one here please. I have bought BD Antivirus Plus 2013 valid for 1PC/3years in September 2013. Since you got a three year license, shouldn't it be free to upgrade to 2015 for your final year?
-
I think he created a support ticket for that, "Ulimately fixed". For faster assistance, I guess just use the same ticket number? I'm sure they have your history on record.
-
Could this be an issue with the Chrome version and search advisor? You might want to try and updating Chrome though and see if this would make a difference.
-
Thumbs up for BD team here. That was really fast!
-
I think you should manually scan those password protected folders just to be sure. Quick one here please. Let's say I have the same passwords for 3 folders, can we scan those 3 folders simultaneously?
-
I have encountered this issue once, I just did a restart and it fixed the problem. You might want to try that as well.
-
I am just curious here, I think this has been a problem for over a year now and is still not fixed. It would be nice if there will be an official update from a staff on this just to set the proper expectations.
-
Hi, sorry ahead on bumping this up but is there already a progress for this?
-
Sorry, I got lost here but are you saying that Flash is built in on Chrome and just by updating it will fix the issue?
-
I think this would be a risky thing since it will auto delete/fix detected threats. Now this could include false positives which could be a Windows file.
-
Count me in here as well please!
-
In addition to this, you can also set the Outlook pst directory to exception list so BD will skip that every time it scans.
-
I think a password generator would not be a feature for a security software. I doubt that BD will consider that. But disabling BD in one click sound like a good idea!
-
Agreed. Since Windows and BD cannot be ran at the same time. I think it's a good option for BD to support Amsi, +1.
-
I didn't see that it said the key was obsolete but might as well verify this with support. I think it would be a good feature for BD to just show a message regarding the specific issue like if a key used is expired.
-
It will not install, downloads stop x(x)% underway, no internet connection, all my other protection was down for 2 hours.. Sorry but this looks like a local issue to me. Have you made sure that your internet connection is working okay?
-
+1. I'd also like to have this please.
-
How about if you do a search on tmp00000004 on your PC, does the Windows search find it though?
-
I think the file will be scanned again even if it was tagged as clean on previous scans. I think this is how security softwares are set up.
-
Would be nice if there's a feature for this in the feature about ignore UAC.
-
Do you have an active security software installed like a firewall other than BD? Try to disable that. It would be worth the try if you can verify if the Avangate renewal link is working okay.
-
If it's not too much to ask, may I ask if this is really the default? Like BD firewall will block Internet Connection Sharing?
-
I think that has been set up correctly. BD or any other firewall will not automatically disable the Windows firewall. Although, that might be a good feature to suggest though since it will be redundant already.
