I found a workaround: when Bitdefender scans automatically a drive, it creates a separate icon for the scan task in the Windows notification area. Currently, I have 2 external drives connected, so I have 3 Bitdefender icons in the notification area. Those scan icons allow you to stop the scan, thus unlocking the device.…
