@Gjoksi , thanks for the info - I appreciate it I will give that a try in a day or two - I've now scanned with two products (Bitdefender and Microsoft Safety Scan) and have found no problems, so I think it's a false positive. But it's best to be on the safe side! :)

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I've attached a screenshot of the email. I ran Microsoft's Safety Scanner which reported no problems (other than a suboptimal configuration setting for Windows Defender "DefenderTamperingRestore"). The only info I can find about 'bamital' is a decade old or more, so I believe it no longer exists.…

Unfortunately, this hasn't worked - I got the dreaded "api.diagnostics.office.com" dialog this morning. I just click through for now. Hopefully a fix is forthcoming

Hi all, I've had this same issue a few times, with "api.diagnostics.office.com". I found this on Reddit, which might help https://www.reddit.com/r/BitDefender/comments/11byuka/outlook_email_certificate_issued_by_bitdefender/ I've tried it, but as the issue happens sporadically, I can't be certain if it's worked.
