Nice find, Will Verified on my end too. Code works during checkout, you can get it for 19.99 instead of the 39.99. Incredible deal For those who may want to know more about Bitdefender Sphere, can be found here (Christian's summery + web link): http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=155142 I just bought three…

Thanks for the tip. BD TS 2014 was able to install and all functionality seems to present. However, I do get prompted (User Access Control) on restarts/reboots to install TS 2014. I reply 'no' and move on. I'm hopeful that BD for Windows 8 issues are resolved in 30 days. Yeah there are no shims for the 2014 release, only…

What if it fails safe mode boot? So, what you're saying is you can't boot into safe mode from your recovery disk? Try the steps here and and an attempt a Startup Repair. If your Windows 7 system installation disc doesn't work for this there are links where you can download another recovery option. That way you won't have…

I have an HP laptop running Windows 7 that will not boot because of a corrupted gzflt.sys file. The Windows utility is unable to repair the file so I'm unable to boot from the Hard Drive. I do have a Windows recovery disc and can boot from that to run utilities. Is there some place I can get an uncorrupted driver file?…

Well after a bit of research I found out that MSFT has put SHIMs into their compatibility database with the 8.1 (Blue) preview release. The SHIMs put in place are are what's called a Hard Block meaning Microsoft in their wisdom has decided to disable your application for whatever reason. You can create SHIMs to do other…

Same here. Seems not compatible ;( Same here.. Firewall down.. etc. I did a repair install and it still won't work.

Hello You can not turn off that service because is protected. If you want to turn off the module, set Auto Sync to off in the main interface, under the Safebox module. In these days, 1 MB of RAM for a service is not that much. Take care. I just stumbled across this thread. Start->Run->services.msc find "Safebox Service"…

Hello everyone, @werby3, @Will Wood, @olli, Here is the link: http://website.informer.com/visit?domain=watch32.com Every movie is divided into 7,8,10 parts etc. You have to see at least 2 parts from any movie(Harry Potter for example ), no longer than 1 minutes. Then leave this site and close the browser! At the end pay…

Perhaps it has something to do with the hoster. I have the issue when I streaming sites from the IP range 8.27.x.x or 209.84.x.x. It was the same network provider. Perhaps the servers of this provider are a little "special" Well I haven't had a chance to remove/test/re-install but I'll get to it over the next couple of…

Unfortunately not. But many users in previous posts reported the same issue especially for video streaming. I believe that it's an issue between BD and some specific flash player streaming versions. Humm, okay.. I just was in a chat session with Liam (see attached) we'll see what happens.. ;-) I'm still going to carve out…

This is a common practice for this company. It's a very chea.p way for them to debug their products. That's why we can upgrade our versions with the same license. As for support in facebook or elsewhere there is no hope. This issue persists since 2009. Well, I think that it's related to the Server in this case or something…

I can see the same behaviour using IE or Chrome... Curious, why would BD be filtering the FIN flag from the Server side? I'll carve some time and remove BD and do some additional packet traces however there's also Windows Firewall as well. So, did Christian ever come back with a ticket / issue number for this with BD as…

Hello, just take a look with tcpview from sysinternals. You will see the connenctions from your browser. And you wil see that - after streaming or downloading huge files - there are some connections which could not be closes. They have the status "finwait_2". That happens if the server doesn´t get the last packed which…

Kindly see bellow screenshots, one with Firefox opened and the other after Firefox exit. Here's on my system, before and after. I used delta I/O read/write/other in process explorer to show the direct I/O related to my Wifi connection. after stopping Firefox, I still have I/O but it's not against the BD services, I have a…

I can set priority in task manager on all programs except BItdefender total security 2013. How to fix it? There are at least two services (depending if you Parental Control enabled, 3) in Bitdefender + the Agent Background app (that supports the desktop task integration) which one are you referring to? All of them?
-
...in addition I know, I should not make this question but are you sure you have not this issue too? I mean, did you check, after exiting Firefox, in "Task Manager/Performance tab or via a download meter to see what happens? Regards yup, no traffic on the NIC, no streaming processes or firefox processes hanging around,…

Hello Will Wood, On my Win 8 Pro 64bit, Firefox 18.0.1 with Flash 11.5.502.146 has always this issue. I've tried all possible settings (including your suggestion) and found only one solution: Unistallation of my BD Win 8 Security. Same with my previous OSs & BDs. In your previous Post #16, you mentioned about TrafficLight…

Has anybody tried it with TrafficLight disabled, i.e., go into the settings and turn off the filters? Just curious
-
Hello Will Wood, This is an old (since BDIS 2012) issue and still remains. Christian's above post should convince you. You (we) cannot do anything about this. Thanks for your response! Are you still running Firefox 16? Also since it's been a couple of months can you confirm what Flash version you have?

1) this morning I started my computer as I usually do and it took nearly half an hour for the login screen to show up and then after typing in my password (this process usually starts the desktop popup and populate my screen with desktop icons about three (3) minutes of waiting) next you know what happens ------- nothing.…

So I installed BD TS 2013 on my Laptop (Windows 8 pro, 64 bit) and games (Pro Evolution Soccer 2013) Stopped working. the game stopped launching. Definitely it is because of BD TS 2013 because the problem directly appeared after installation. Any suggestions to solve this annoying problem thanks, Try this..…

Hi jackie, I don't know if you are speaking of autorun or autoplay. There is a difference. There is a setting in Bitdefender's gui that disables autorun. You might try turning it off to see if it helps. Please see attachment. Good catch.

I guessed the same thing ,I already have a key good for another 300 days which i bought, but this key was won.I can't extend the days over a year I would guess? The 365 days is the max ? you may be able to hold onto it and use it when your 300 day key expires. Again, I'd talk to the support people because in the past…

Hi I have a valid licence for a year right now and I have won a key(licence) for 1 year ,can I add it to my existing licence? Thks I would lik to keep using Bitdefender for a long time,. I don't know that the key is for but I would guess that you can't add it to an existing license key, but use it for a new installation or…

Okay, today I put Firefox 18 on my desktop (I run Chrome) I also installed Flash Player (I don't run it on this particular system) and installed version 11 from Adobe. I then installed TrafficLight for Firefox. I went to http://kallien.caster.fm/ Listened to the music.. (sorry not my forte') and Closed Firefox. Everything…

Since a week my PC slowed down enormously.. Bootime 257 seconds. I removed Bitdefender Internet Security and replaced it by MS Security. Boottime now: 50 secs which is normal.. So why takes Bitdefender more than 200 secs ????? Okay, so I'd ask what Windows O/S version? Also, take a look at this. https://www.soluto.com/ it…

+1 here also, on werby3's post #5. Good way to go about it. When you have the disc, works great, otherwise, if you're restoring from a manufactures restore partition, usually it includes all their installed bloatware But bloatware makes the world go round! How else would we get all those free ###### and ###### ads?
