Dear All, I faced the same problem with my laptop (Win 7 X64 & BD 2010), I downloaded the patch but I couldn't run it, I restarted & couldn't run both the patch & BD. I restarted in safe mode & I could run the patch then restarted & update BD & everything is back to normal now.
