Same issue. I think I'll have to go back to 2011.

Why has this not been addressed, or gone unanswered? BDIS is leaving me no option other than to turn off the firewall. I have tried the following additional steps beyond spending 20 mins with ISP tech support, to narrow down the problem initially... 1. Completely uninstall and reinstall a fresh BD!S 2. Completely purged…

Unfortunately, the reboots continue for me. -Scott

This is getting ridiculous; BD has now updated and asked for reboot 4 times today, and my PC has only been on for four hours. -Scott

I just noticed an option to disable this notification. I don't recall it on previous builds, but at least it takes care of this annoyance. -Scott

I as well receive the every 15-day alert and would like to know how to stop it. I have persistent scanning enabled and have a deep scan scheduled every mo, so every 15 days is not necessary. -Scott

Hello ScottS, Please take a screen-shot of one of the alerts that you receive, upload it on http://www.sendspace.com/, then post here the download link . Here is one of the messages that appear. Adobe products seem to want to write to the registry on every start, but BD does not add my agreement to the request for future…

The new update today appears to have fixed this issue as well as the blank pages loading after browsing internet on my XP PC. See Alex's Post #153@ http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...6648&st=140 Thank you.

DB stopping programs from connecting via Internet evn though there is an Allow Rule in place. I was having difficulty with a couple submission-based app's and was provided recommendations, and one was to set my firewall to allow the app to make the connection. Well, there was a Rule, and still did not work. I tried…

Not the right section, but I have another annoyance... The alerts...BD alerts when the system has not been scanned. I wish this would be optional, aside from monitoring whether the service is running or not. If a system is properly set w/ virus shield, there's no reason to do a full system scan every week; once every 2-3…

I have had the same problem for weeks. I submitted the reports etc and got no help or fix. AND, this is not the only issue I have been confronting - see the internet goes blank posts...very frustrating. The company solution to the problem appears to be to disable most of the features of BD ...this sounds like buying a car…

This is going from bad to worse... My daughters XP machine started acting strange, like the task bar completely un-usable when I logged in as an Admin, and then I also noticed that the Home Network function of BD went down, so I tried something...I stopped BD from starting and so far, the PC's strange issues have not…

Another issue has arose...the BD icon has disappeared from my notification tray. It is running. I have ran chkdsk and restarted. -Scott

The latest crash occurred on an XP system; though a log file was generated, it was not the file you specified. I did upload the crash report the system generated: Log File -Scott Now it crashed on my Vista PC, however, the dump file is 335 Mb...still want it? -Scott

Hello ScottS, If possible, next time you will receive the same message please follow the instructions bellow :... The latest crash occurred on an XP system; though a log file was generated, it was not the file you specified. I did upload the crash report the system generated: Log File -Scott

BD...find a fix! I have paid for your products for several years and version 2010 is ######! I have the 3-pc version and I am constantly running around, restarting PC's to get BD working again. I might try switching unless BD comes up with a permanent fix. -Scott

My firewall continuously stops working (about every 2 weeks) and I must follow the directions herein to restart it. THIS IS INEXCUSABLE!! I actually had BD 2008 working better on Vista than BD 2010...not certain the upgrade is necessary. -Scott

I had tried it and although it does run some sort of scan, I cannot get it to run a thorough scan. ------------ Scott
