Could you please tell us the exact location of the trojan, and, in addition, you could attach a sample of it to a new post, compressed, protected with the password infected. Best regards!

Trojans contained inside archives cannot be deleted. One way to do it si to extract all the files from the archive, delete the ones infected, and re-compress the clean files again. Kind regards!

De ce nu se acorda licente pentru samples? Probabil ca raspunsul e simplu: nimeni nu ar mai cumpara BD. In schimb, ar instala o versiune trial si ar incepe sa sape dupa mostre, si dupa un anumit numar de virusi trimsi, si-ar primi licenta. Nu cred ca e prea rentabil pentru firma.

The update feature is not working as you may think it is; it is not downloading files over and over again, it rather downloads new files, and replaces the old ones or updates the virus-signature data-base. The size of BD will never reach that size.

Problema poate fi si una de natura euristica, driverele au predilectia de a fi "confundate" cu root-kituri, si, dat fiind ca e intradevar vorba de un driver, iti sugerez sa-l atasezi si aici daca il gasesti, pentru analiza. Ca sa scaneze in interiorul arhivelor, furnizezi inainte de numele fisierului parametrul /r. Fereastra nu se poate ascunde (asta daca nu exista vreo optiune a managerului tau de download).

Din ce vad ai BD 2008. Trebuie sa executi C:\Program Files\Common Files\BitDefender\BitDefender Threat Scanner\av32bit\bdc.exe, si nu uiscan.exe. Ca parametrii e destul sa folosesti numele fisierului.

Polymorphic viruses encrypt their body everytime using a different key (a different algorithm might be used as well), though, changing its binary pattern, making it difficult to find constant strings of bytes, most of the times imposible.

Se pare ca e clean. E folosit de jocuri, pentru a se asigura ca ruleaza doar de pe CD-uri.

In mod normal nu trebuie sa existe probleme nici cu BD Total Security sau Internet Security (mai ales ca ai Game Mode, daca esti un impatimit ale jocurilor).

Posibil malware. E packed cu PETite, si, o data packed cu acesta nu mai poate fi despachetat decat runtime (din cate stiu nu exista unpacker pt .PETtie). Il voi unui virus researcher si va adauga detectia daca va fi nevoie. Multumim de sample.

Bugul a fost raportat deja, nu ne ramane altceva decat sa asteptam update-ul in care va fi reparat.

I tend to believe that the problem is being caused by a faulty BD driver. Blue screens of death are very often caused by drivers, and I don`t think your case is an exception. Your system aprtition C: doesn`t look like being affected by Mebroot. Overwriting the MBR`s of the affected partitions will fix the problem, as long as specific partition specific data is not lost. Spre deosebire de altii, noi ne bucuram daca ne trimiti virusi. Oricate sampleuri ai, nu te sfii sa le uploadezi aici. Cele care reprezinta intradevar malware vor fi semnate. Multumim mult.
