  • Next day, and now (after I declined to identify that source as my "office network") BitDefender has popped up a new message inviting me to set it as my "home network". I'm still not exactly sure what difference it makes, but I've gone ahead and accepted that invitation.
  • Bitdefender icons added to Thunderbird do not suit 'look and feel' of Thunderbird. In particular, the buttons are too tall and the icons are correspondingly too large. Original Thunderbird icons/buttons are on the upper row, added Bitdefender icons/buttons are on the lower row. —DIVERSE
  • On this topic, when Ransomware Remediation is enabled, I also wonder: are all files & folders protected, or just certain ones (e.g. in My Documents); could the combined size of maintained copies of protected files become very large (more than 1 GB and/or more than 1,000 files, say) — and, if so, can users set a cap on this…
  • Another issue: Following installation it seems that my device was not protected by Bitdefender, because the application had not been 'activated' by me signing in. However, the application never prompted me to sign in!!! It just sat quietly in the (compacted/hidden) system tray with a greyed-out icon, not alerting the user…
