svchost.exe is a system file. I am sure of it. Sdfix must have detected a false positive.

A hijackthis log will really help us http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=5668 just run it, and press scan and save a log file. Then post the log file here. DO NOT press anything else in hijackthis.
-
well i just unzip it onto my flash drive. It works for me. So i guess it is portable
-
well if explorer crashes, you could always use task manager(ctrl alt del) and run "explorer.exe"
-
please post here a scan log. Full scan log is prefered.
-
No not you Andreas. I meant Mystic. From his picture i saw norton on his desktop

So i guess you should really take BitDefender into account. It has protected my computer from computer terrorists for a while now. Well I never been the one to put all my faith in anything. That goes for religion, government, politicians, and yes, security apps. That is true to a point but it made me laugh. This should go…
-
Ok. Its clear to me now is your computer fine now?
-
your welcome and no worries, there was no trouble.
-
yeah, looks like you have norton on there too. You should only have one protection.
-
ok so um, does anyone one how how to use it and interpret the logs
-
O MY GOD. I have never seen all those undeleteables before. Do you still have Mcafee and Spybot Installed? You should only have one protection, and if bitdefender is your choice, you should uninstall the others. Not only to multiple antivirus slow down your computer, but the conflict with each other, and mark each other as…

In comparison to webroots, i think they are pretty much the same. Bitdefender is for dealing with both viruses and spyware and rootkits. So you might also want to take that into account.
-
Its never a good idea to format your hard drive. It is a DEAD last resort.
-
i have that file in my task manager. doesn't seem to do anything. I think it is dangerous because, it is one of the most likely to be infected systemfiles, like run32.dll(or something like that). So i think it is a system file. But it has the possibility of being infected.

post here a full scan log
-
It happens to me when my computer is really using a lot of RAM or if my computer is really laggy
-
csrssc.exe is an IMPORTANT SYSTEM FILE.
-
yeah thanks guys
-
Thanks for the help guys, but again its fine. I use my computer for work, and other things so i don't really need a fast computer. I do find the registry cleaner and the defragger helpful, because it did help me speed up my computer. Win Defrag doesn't really do anything
-
did you try running a full scan?
-
Well, i am fine with my current computer speed. But i was surprised how fast my computer went after unistalling it. It went from normal to super fast. It is my opinion, but Bit Defender got many good reviews, and comes with a registry cleaner and a defragger. I am very satisfied with bitdefender.
-
Bitdefender failed to remove these am i correct?
-
it is a system file on everycomputer. however i have never seen it try to modify, or even access the registry
-
is it possible to boot it from a mounted image?
-
Thanks guys
-
No it wouldn't matter. if you have a license for just one computer, you can just uninstall it from one computer and reinstall it on the other.
