The same just happened to me. After closing everything open I used Aveldena's suggestion to disable everything in Bitdefender / Protection / Online Threat Prevention, rebooted, enabled everything in Online Threat Prevention, rebooted again and Outlook is now working normally. Thanks so much Aveldena!
