Do you have a more detailed spec list? The motherboard is important too and also if there is a management app installed on your system like Asus Ai Suite or Gigabyte Control Center?

Can you open 'about.exe' from "C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security App" to check the current product version and report back here?

There is no being left behind, it's just 2 different versions of the same security suite offering the same level of protection. The newer version as always is deployed using a slow rollout while monitoring for any unexpected issues with it.

You're running Windows 10? If yes, which version/build number? Can you provide us with a screenshot of the problem? Did the windows update install successfully?

It is a staged/slow rollout, it can take 1 week or it can take 2 months to reach all users. You can't do anything to get the update sooner. There are no special computers getting it first or special configs.

Do you still have this issue? You said you had only 5 tabs open, did you watch some twitch streams by any chance?

Without Bitdefender installed, did your Windows Defender offline scan worked before? If not, then your WinRe partition is missing due to a incomplete OS install/upgrade.

A fix was delivered to all market, do you still have this problem using the latest version of Bitdefender (after update)?

Do you have an error code in product notifications related to update module? What does it look like?

launch an offline scan from Protection tab - Antivirus - Rescue Environment.
