block traffic update

How can you block all internet traffic at once?
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to block all internet traffic at one time, like you can do in most antivirus programs? I know you can block individual programs from accessing the internet with a firewall rule however if I wanted to block all traffic at once using bitdefender, is there a way to do this ? thank you

I had one strange problem... I have been away for 2 days and when I fire up my computer and update Bitdefender, the firewall starts blocking all traffic. I had to turn it off to be able to access the web. I tried modifying network type, reset the rules, it just kept blocking everything. How the heck do I correct that...…
