I am using a Dell XPS 8930 PC with 16GB memory and Windows 11. The PC is about 6 years old. Quite often, the computer seems to go off and do it's own thing - the keyboard freezes and I cannot type in anything, sometimes for 10 minutes or so. When this happens, according to Task Manager, 'bdservicehost' and 'Bitdefender VPN Service' are by far the bigest users of CPU and Memory(43%). I recently increased the memory from 8GB to 1GB, but it made little difference. Is there any way I can stop or control this happening ? It has taken me about 15 minutes to complete this message !
