Thanks for your reply. I use Firefox and will reset it as you suggest, but the problem occurred after having installed Bitdefender Internet Security and VPN (Premium). I'll be back 😀 Edit: yes, that did the job! Thank you.

Hi Alex, thanks for your response. Found that microphone, but a. can't deactivate it (stays blue) and b. I didn't understand disabling that mike icon meant the app didn't have any access from that moment on. Just monitoring and no action. Snagit doesn't start automatically with Windows. I'll try to remove this…
