Hi Alan, Indeed an interesting question. Yes, we deal with all reported issues: product issues, GUI issues, connectivity issues; What exactly was the issue you encountered with 2010 that were reproduced in 2011 ? Maybe I can clear things for you, even assist you in installing BitDefender to see if any issues occur. Two…

Gord we are working on each and every issue reported on the forum. Yes, we did released few updates and the issue should be resolved now. If you still encounter issues please let me know. DanyDan: Are the issues resolved just BD2011 related or BD overall - like BD servers where updates are pulled and such? I ask because I…

I have recently re-found an issue on Windows regarding that p.o.s. MS Silverlight. If you have Silverlight installed due to Windows Update settings, uninstall Silverlight, reboot, and re-try what you're trying to accomplish. I think you'll see marked improvements.

I have to wonder if all the new anti-Everything that's embedded in IE8, Outlook Junk Mail filtering, Google Toolbar, etc ... if these are conflicting with BD just as another program like Symantec or McAfee would? Anyway, I went into Outlook's Tools -> Options -> Preferences (tab) -> Junk Mail (button) and selected "No…

I am having the same issues with Outlook 2003 on WinXP Pro SP3 and 4G of RAM. VSSERV.exe takes off with almost all of the CPU bringing my system to a screeching slowdown. I almost believe there is a memory leak in VSSERV because of the amount of memory it is consuming. I am currently seeing VSSERV with a 621M of RAM commit…

I would disable the antispam except that I have yet to find the option in Antivirus 2009. (not using the full suite version that you are) If anyone can point me in the right direction to disable it in AV 2009 I would appreciate it. If you right click on the BitDefender globe in the System Tray and choose "Show", then…

I'm having the same problem with Box Trapper anti spam on my mail server and BitDefender 2009 Antivirus (not running the full suite) causing the e-mails to come in with blank subjects and sender / recipient details etc, and losing all HTML formatting. If I disable Box Trapper, e-mails come in correctly. Box Trapper inserts…

I believe I have found part of the problem ... First, I completely uninstalled 2009 - again - as well as ran the BitDefender Uninstall Tool. I then rebooted in Selective Startup mode and re-installed 2009 Internet Security - rebooting each time I was asked. All went well. In the end, I'm still getting messages that come…
